Frequently Asked Questions

Who are you?

We are a group of high school and middle school musicians focused on bringing the joy of music to children in less fortunate situations.

Where are you located?

We are based in San Diego, California. If you are interested in creating a Music4Kids chapter in your own city, you can fill out the form under the join us form here.

What instruments are in the club?

We currently have pianists, singers, violinists, cellists, guitarists, violists, flutists, trumpeters, saxophonists, bassoonists, and piccoloists in our organization.

How do lessons work?

We upload free video lessons on a variety of musical instruments and topics on our YouTube channel, as well as on our website under the lessons tab. We also offer free online lessons, which you can sign up for here.

How do the free online lessons work?

We hold the lessons over Zoom! Our teachers will schedule the Zoom Meeting and send the link/meeting info before class!

How much do lessons cost?

Our lessons are 100% free! We do not want to put a price on a student's love for music, and we want to offer an alternative to families who struggle to afford regular lessons.

How can I get involved?

You can join our club by filling out the form on our website, or email music4kidssandiego@gmail.com to volunteer. If you would like to support our cause, please feel free to check out our donation page!
